Overview

Full Time = 5   8 hour shifts per week

 

 

The psychiatric LPN performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health education, health teaching, health counseling and supporting and restorative care in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.  Responsible for standing and emergency medication administration and for providing any treatments.   Lead Group Therapy sessions and providing individual health teaching.   

 

 

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid License and current Registration to practice as a Practical Nurse in New York State.
  • Psychiatric experience preferred.
