  • Overview

    The Farley Center in Williamsburg has an opening in the Business Development Department.

    The Alumni Coordinator will:

    • Manage all communications between the Farley Center staff (clinical, management and business development) and the alumni.
    • Manage all alumni marketing activities (create & distribute alumni newsletter, routine promotional contact with alumni, other marketing activities as needed).
    • Provide oversight for all alumni activities that support ongoing recovery for alumni and recently discharged patients.
    • Alumni event planning and participation: Incl. 4 yearly alumni events, annual reunion, golf tournament, holiday gathering, etc.
    • Maintain and continuously update alumni database.
    • Set up and nurture alumni contacts with patients upon discharge.
    • Act as a resource for all alumni/new patient connectivity.
    • Work with other Business development staff to increase referrals via Farley Center alumni.
    • Act as facility representative to the alumni advisory board.
    • Monitors and reports all activities to the Director of Business Development.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Marketing, Communications, Social Work or related field.
    • Maintain a minimum of 4 years recovery and active within the area AA community. 
    • 5+ years of experience in the field of behavioral health and customer service preferred
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience within the chemical dependency field.
    • Ability to work independently and effectively without direct supervision.
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational and writing skills are required.
    • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends as required.

    Hospital/Program Description

    The Farley Center at Williamsburg Place is a program designed for individuals who have primary Substance Use Disorders, requiring intensive, in-depth psychotherapeutic intervention, safe detoxification, as well as educational and experiential approaches to assist them into recovery.
