IMMEDIATE OPENING- Psychiatric Nurse - RN and/or LPN, Danville AR

 

COMPETITIVE PAY /EXCELLENT BENEFITS/SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE

 

RN’s 30.00-35.00/hour with 3.00 shift differential. Hourly wage to commensurate with experience.


LPN’s 22.00-27.00/hour with 2.00 shift differential. Hourly wage to commensurate with experience.

 

Sign on Bonus is available.

 

Summary:

 

Signet Health is actively interviewing for a nurse with behavioral health experience to join the Behavioral Health inpatient care team at Chambers Hospsital in Danville Arkansas.  Both RNs and LPNs are invited to apply if you have behavioral health experience 

 

Both RN and LPN night shift position available.   These positions are full-time, overnight position and may include weekends and holidays.  Hours are from 6:30pm to 7:00am.

  • Consults with and keeps supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems in regard to assigned patients and/or unit.
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy.
  • Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
  • Effectively interacts with patients, families, & visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing.
  • Provides physical and psychological support to patients.
  • Interacts with patient and patient's family and provide encouragement and support.
  • Demonstrates care, warmth and empathy; also possesses good listening skills and ability to determine patient care needs.

Requirements/Qualifications

Requirements:  

  • Must be graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Must have a current Arkansas  or compact LPN or RN license.   
  • Basic Life Support/ACLS certification.
  • Certification in de-escalation techniques is a plus, but we will train.
  • Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Mental Health and various illnesses with a willingness to expand knowledge.
  • Culturally perceptive when working with psychiatric difficulties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resilience, immense empathy, and resolution a must.
  • Team player, respectful, dependable, positive attitude and self-control of own emotions.
  • Superb interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
