The Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias, Bluefield, WV - PSYCH NP or PA

The Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias is actively interviewing qualified Advanced Practice Professionals - Physician Assistants (PA), and/or Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) - for their state-of-the-art Outpatient program located in Bluefield, WV.  This is a part-time (24 hours), weekday position.  No weekends, holidays or On-Call!  WVU/Princeton Community offers a generous and competitive compensation, along with paid time off (PTO) and insurance benefits!

Responsibilities: 

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for behavioral health patients in an ambulatory setting.
• Completes initial evaluation and diagnosis. Provides follow up evaluation and management of psychiatric disorders.
• Collaborates with leaders and other staff members to effectively achieve patient outcomes.

Qualifications Needed:

• Current and unencumbered West Virginia Nursing license as a Nurse Practitioner with current PMHNP credentials   OR                                                                  
• Current and unencumbered Physician Assistant license with the West Virginia Board of Medicine. 
• Related experience desired.

The Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias, a service of Princeton Community Hospital, is located at the foot of the beautiful East River Mountain in Bluefield, West Virginia.  This beautiful area offers four seasons with numerous outdoor activities.  Skiing and snowboarding are within a short one-hour drive; scenic rivers for boating and kayaking activities are within a stones-throw; beach-front is a bit farther but well worth the drive.
