Occupational Therapist - Psychiatry

Signet Health, a national behavioral health management company, is currently recruiting for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT, OTR) for the inpatient behavioral health program at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital in Brockton, MA. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity.

Under general direction of the Executive Director, organizes and conducts prescribed Occupational Therapy programming on the inpatient unit through the application of purposeful, goal-directed activities in the evaluation and treatment of individuals whose function is impaired by psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. The programs are geared to the short-term and involve many levels of care. There is an expectation to function within a managed care service delivery model. Arranges own work plan in collaboration with the recreational therapist to include direct patient care services, evaluations, and implementation of treatment plans.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Massachusetts licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OT, OTR) required
• 1+ year of psychiatric experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
