Hospital/Program Description

In 1929, Montage Health started as a locally owned, non-profit 30-bed hospital in Carmel, CA.  Through the decades, Montage Health has changed with the times and in 1962, moved into a modern, 100-bed facility as Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.  Community Health of the Monterey Peninsula grew through the years and in 2018 received a generous gift to create Ohana, a behavioral health program specifically for children and young adults. Ohana is a very appropriate name for this facility as it means not just family, but is inclusive of anyone part of the support system, - friends, neighbors, etc. m  In 2023, Ohana's revolutionary campus opened to provide and support mental health journeys for the youth and families.
