The Recreational Therapist is responsible for recreational &  therapeutic activities. The position will function as a member of the treatment team and interact with patients in activities designed to fulfill individualized treatment goals within a psychosocial rehabilitative program and therapeutic milieu.   Primary Responsibilities include: - Assure provision of  therapeutic activities through individual and group programs to attain or maintain the highest practical level of physical, mental, spiritual and psychosocial well-being. - Participates as a member of the treatment team in order to integrate recreational activities and socialization as part of the total patient plan of care. - Document activities that reflect services provided as the patient’s progress toward meeting treatment plan goals and objectives. Document daily group notes in patient EMR. - Develop a schedule of recreational activities and programming that reflects the assessed needs/interests of the patients, provide culturally appropriate activities, supplies and materials. - Develop structured programs that will offer the patient the opportunity to reduce stress, improve mood, increase activity level and social skills.

The Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle provides technical and leadership expertise to the Behavioral Health Department in all aspects of the revenue cycle.  This position is responsible for the direction of the efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of charge capture, coding, claims submission, follow-up and denial management.   Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinates and supervises the entire posting and billing operation ensuring that the accounts receivable records meet the standards established by the organization while maximizing cash flow and revenue recognition. - Ensures authorizations and related workflows are maintained and results in positive outcomes. - Facilitates Revenue Cycle reporting, data related strategies and presentations. - Collaborates with service line leadership and teams to help ensure processes and workflow are supporting Revenue Cycle related performance. - Coordinates the activities with third party agencies, insurance companies, patients and departments within the hospital. - Provides continuous training for quality improvement and remains up to date on State, Federal and Managed Care regulations, and communicates/implements appropriate changes. - Interprets and enforces Revenue Cycle policies and procedures. - Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct and laws and regulations. - Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices. - Other duties as assigned.
