Signet Health provides Behavioral Health Services to MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, Clinton Maryland.  We are actively interviewing Maryland licensed nurses for our full-time Psychiatric Nurse Educator position with our Behavioral Health Program in Clinton, MD.     We offer a robust and generous compensation package including generous salary and PTO.  Included in the package is tuition reimbursement.    We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for this position!   The Nurse Educator (Behavioral Health) functions within the roles of educator, facilitator, change agent, consultant, researcher, and leader.  The objective of this position is to enhance performance, promote professional development, or otherwise support programmatic missions.  To accomplish this involves visiting programs, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs.      Primary responsibilities would be: - Design, implement, and evaluate designated facility-based educational programs.  - Assess learning needs through data collection to determine specific education needs.  - Maintain documentation of educational training records, resources, and current licenses.  - Conduct RN orientation, Mental Health Technician Orientation, Student Nurse Orientation, and Staff Development in-services based on identified needs.  - Develop and revise evaluation tools to monitor the effectiveness of in-service programs. Provide consultation and training for identified needs. Participate in special Staff Development projects.  - Conduct classroom and/or clinical instruction as needed to program staff. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

Nurse Manager, Behavioral Health Services  Greensboro, NC    Signet Health, a national behavioral health management company, is currently recruiting for a full-time seasoned Nurse Manager to manage the psychiatric inpatient services (adolescent and adult units) for an 80-bed program at Cone Health Behavioral Health Hospital in Greensboro, NC.      We offer benefits, generous PTO, and a starting salary range of $100,000.00 - $120,000.00, depending on qualifications/experience.    The Nurse Manager reports to the Behavioral Health Executive Director at the Facility and the Senior Director of Nursing at the main hospital. Candidate has accountability for managing resources, (human, material and financial) and to ensure quality, cost-effective delivery of services for the inpatient population. This person is recognized as a professional role model and promotes an environment that supports the goals, mission, vision, philosophy, and values of the behavioral health unit.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES:  Directs development and implementation of quality and utilization standards across the continuum of care to ensure coordinated plans of treatment, patient focused delivery of services and cost-effective utilization of necessary services. Builds trust with the nursing staff through visibility.     - Provides for the seamless transition of patients across the continuum of care. Establishes partnerships with Cone Health’s leadership groups. In collaboration with medical staff and facility leadership, ensures a superior care experience and a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.  - Ensures policies, practices and procedures comply with administrative, legal, and regulatory requirements of governmental and accrediting agencies. - Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff and monitors staff practices and implementation. - Maintains a state of continuous regulatory readiness. - Evaluates the work performance of all nursing personnel. - Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care and nursing supervision as evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage on unit, and general cleanliness. - Reviews units daily to monitor and ensure timely, effective responses to significant changes in condition, transfers, discharges, unexplained injuries, falls, behavioral episodes, medication errors, and environmental issues. Performs rounds to observe care and to interview staff, patients, families, or other interested parties. - Collaborates with physicians, consultants, community agencies and institutions to improve the quality of services and to resolve identified problems. - Utilizes research data to implement clinical changes & the delivery of patient care. - Oversees nursing schedules to assure they meet patient needs and regulatory and budgetary standards. - Participates in the recruitment and selection of nursing personnel.
