Come work with a great interdisciplinary team!  Signet Health manages the Behavioral Health Services for Medstar Washington Hospital Center.  Our team uses evidence-based treatment modalities to help provide cutting-edge and quality therapeutic services to those that need it most in the District of Columbia area, as well as surrounding states. Our services include brief therapy, group therapy, addiction related services, medication management, Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and integrated Co-Occurring treatment for adults.   We have Part-time Therapist openings and offer rich and unique learning opportunities.  Typical schedule will be M-F from 8:30 am-5 pm (Part-time to cover hours within that time frame as needed). Licensure in the District of Columbia is required as outlined: Psychologists, LICSW or LPC.  Background with adults and addiction related services are strongly preferred.   Work expectations would include: - Provides therapeutic services on-site at the Outpatient Clinic. Services may be a mixture of individual therapy, group therapy, intakes, addiction/co-occurring services, and supporting PHP and IOP outcomes. - Collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team of qualified health care professionals, throughout the Medstar Health Network and collaborating community treatment teams. - Ensures compliant documentation of clinical services, assessments, referrals, and other clinically related entries within our electronic-medical-record (EMR). - Organizes and presents case presentations with the clinical team and prescribers. - Plans proactively for step-downs and discharge planning for patients assigned to your caseload, including keeping treatment plans and diagnostics assessments current. - Attends regular interdisciplinary team meetings and supervision for the operational and administrative functions of the outpatient clinic. - Collaborates with the operations and leadership team located within the same clinic. - Attends company provided and/or covered trainings to maintain required licensures, and professional development. - Performs other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area. Come work with a great team!  Signet Health manages the Behavioral Health Services for Medstar Washington Hospital Center and has an opportunity for a Full-time (Evenings 3 pm - 11:30 pm) Emergency Room - Intake Clinician.    This person will conduct clinical assessments of prospective patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and determine patients’ appropriateness for the program.  Also, as needed, this person is responsible for providing direct clinical social work services to patients and their families as a part of the multidisciplinary team with most emphasis on completing Psychosocial Assessments, conducting groups, facilitating marital and/or family therapies, assisting in program development and developing, implementing and reviewing Treatment Plans on the units.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Coordinates the psychiatric assessment process with the attending psychiatrists. - Identifies age appropriate developmental tasks and needs as evidenced in the development of care and the treatment planning sessions.  Completes Psychosocial Assessments, reviews treatment plans and conducts groups, as needed on the Units. - Maintains contact with nursing homes, medical-surgical units and other facilities and agencies to promote the program and to provide education regarding services available for their clients/residents. - Provides ongoing communications with referral sources concerning the status of patients referred into the program. - Other duties as assigned.
